Engineers' Journey to Germany: Exploring Renewable Energy Innovations

From September 22nd to October 5th, 2024, Dalo e.v. organized a transformative trip to Germany for a group of engineers to explore renewable energy technologies and CO₂ balance strategies.

During the trip, the engineers visited the prestigious Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, where they gained insights into cutting-edge research and advancements in renewable energy. They also had the honor of meeting Mayor (Bettina Lisbach), who shared her expertise on sustainable urban planning.

A highlight of the journey was the visit to the Energy Mountain in Karlsruhe, where the team saw open-space photovoltaic systems and wind turbines in action—an inspiring example of Germany's commitment to renewable energy.

This experience has equipped our engineers with valuable knowledge that will contribute to advancing sustainable energy practices in Kurdistan-Iraq.
